From Collecting Soaps to Crafting Skincare: A Journey of Awareness and Creation

My journey into formulating skincare and personal care products began with a moment of curiosity and reflection. As someone who enjoyed collecting artisanal soaps, I was captivated by their vibrant colors, unique fragrances, and intricate designs. Over time, however, I noticed something intriguing—some of the soaps in my collection began to change, losing their fragrance, color, and texture as they expired. Yet, others remained seemingly untouched, even long past their expiry date.

This observation sparked a realization: What ingredients were these products made of, and how did they impact their quality and longevity? It became evident that understanding the ingredients in skincare and personal care products was not only important but essential for making informed, conscious choices.

For many years, I have been teaching meditation and Sudarshan Kriya, deeply integrating mindfulness into every aspect of my life. This practice of awareness extends beyond meditation, influencing how I live, work, and make decisions. However, it became clear to me that skincare and personal care products were areas where awareness often fell short. Many people, including myself, relied on labels without truly understanding the potential impact of the ingredients listed. This gap in knowledge inspired me to take a deeper dive into the world of skincare formulation.

I began by learning to read and analyze product labels, identifying harmful ingredients, and understanding their effects on the skin and body. Driven by a desire for safer, more effective alternatives, I started experimenting with cold-process soap making. This artisanal method gave me complete control over the ingredients used, allowing me to create products that were natural, safe, and free from harmful chemicals.

What started as a personal exploration soon grew into a passion. Slowly but steadily, I began formulating a range of skincare and personal care products, each one crafted with mindfulness and care. My journey has been about more than just creating products—it has been about fostering awareness, promoting conscious living, and offering solutions that align with my values of purity and sustainability.

Today, I continue to explore and innovate, blending creativity, knowledge, and mindfulness into every product I craft. From collecting soaps as a hobby to formulating products with intention and purpose, this journey has been a testament to the transformative power of curiosity and conscious living. Each product reflects my commitment to nurturing the skin, the body, and the soul.
